Small and compact enough to fit easily in your purse, glovebox, or pocket, the Map Reader can magnify, illuminate and point you in the right direction. A compass with degree markings is built into the front of the Map Reader. A powerful 3X magnifying glass slides out from the top of this unit, while a bright light illuminates the area magnified. The magnifying glass also has a slide-out pen, which you can use to jot notes on the pad of 2" x 1 3/4" adhesive notes that is built into the back. Light operates on two AAA batteries (not included).
